n актерская игра, мастерство (исполнение роли) (1). Русское игра соответствует двум группам существительных в английском языке: 1) game и play (см. game); 2) acting и performance. Оба существительных второй группы относятся к сценическому искусству, но различаются по значению и сфере употребления. Существительное acting относится только к сценической деятельности и обозначает актерское мастерство, искусство, умение актера исполнять разные роли в театре, на сцене или в кино:His acting in all the plays always moved the audience to tears — Его игра во всех пьесах всегда трогала зрителей до слез.
